Farewell

After a short, but surprisingly restful sleep (for myself), those onboard were up early and getting ready to disembark Silurian. The other volunteers were catching the early bus to Craignure, then the ferry to Oban, and from there various points in Scotland, England and Germany. It's sad to see another expedition come to an end and everyone departing on their different journeys.

Yet again, it's still a bit odd not to be joining the exodus, but walking up the hill home. My reality is still a bit surreal at times.
