Another bizarre moment from today was when 2 volunteers for the next Earthwatch-Silurian
trip came into the HWDT shop. After talking for a few moments, we realized that I have talked with them before, months ago! After my first trip aboard Silurian last September, Earthwatch asked if I would mind being a reference for anyone interested in the trip and I said sure. So here it is months later and 2 Californian strangers I once talked too on the phone are here in Tobermory. Small world, eh?

Bizarre but Brilliant!
I love the fact that I can step into my backyard and hear the sound of bagpipes, sometimes even a fiddle, being practiced next door.
