Monday was castle day

Yesterday Lyn and I got on the bus to Craignure and hiked a wooded trail to Torosay Castle in the rain. Enjoyed the gardens and a lovely snack in the tea room. We then started walking to Duart Castle, the home of Clan MacLean. By the time we got there it liked we had swam there, as we were soaked. Treated ourselves to a sweet snack and then walked thru the castle, unfortunately it was still foggy and could not see the amazing views from the top. Later caught a ride back to Craignure and then the bus to Tobermory. A wet adventure on the isle of Mull. The thing is if you waited around for the sun to come and stay on mull, before you went out to explore, you might never go anywhere! Today, Tuesday, started sunny, and then a drenching rain came down and then sunny for the rest of the morning, and then sitting in the sun at the garden in the hostel, I am all the sudden pelted by rain drops, but no clouds overhead.

Mull is a wonderful and magically place that doesn't even need clouds to produce rain.

My newest adventure, possibly is going on a overnight trip tonight on an educational talk for the trust, so I will let you know how that goes! More to follow.
