The rest of today has been great. After my morning trip to Dervaig, I hung out at the HWDT office and then met one of the volunteers, Lyn, who will be on the trip tomorrow. We all visited in the back office with tea and biscuits. Later Lyn and I went a toured a 100 year old herring boat that was in harbor for the day. Next we took a 2 hour hike along the coast to a lighthouse and treated ourselves with a trip to the pub and fish & chips. On the way back to the B&B I saw Susie, who was the scientific officer last year onboard. It was great to see her. So all in all, it has been a full, rich day!
