We have anchored for the evening a bit early, on the NW coast of the isle of Skye, on Loch Harport. Today was glorious as far as weather was concerned. Sunny, warm, and good breeze that allowed us to sail most of the day. The waves were also bigger and my stomach did not appreciate it, but a nap helped a bit. Other than birds, we had not other sightings, which we like to blame on the huge NATO exercise that is underway in the area. We frequently hear the ping of sonar on the hydrophone and most of the whales and dolphins have probably cleared the area. Hopefully it doesn't lead to any strandings. Supper is still being cooked, and we are going to go ashore and go exploring. We will have a spectacular view of the black Cullins of Skye, very spectacular scenery!
