I was up near Appin and that 3rd photo is Castle Stalker of Highlander and Monty Python fame. Walked along the old rail line, it was gorgeous afternoon.
No, it is not Oban harbour, but Loch Laich, an inlet off Loch Linnhe, about halfway between Oban and Glencoe.
Is that at the mouth of Oban harbor?

I searched and searched through my photos, unable to find one that looked quite like it ... so, OK, not Oban. ;)

The goose did come hiss at me, but I just stood my ground. Silly goose. Not evil, just misunderstood :)
