Ganavan Sands

View north towards Loch Linnhe and the hills of Morvern
Ganavan Sands
Ardmucknish Bay

It was another spectacular warm and sunny day, so a visit to Ganavan Sands was a good idea. The tide was out and the views towards Lismore, Morvern, and Mull were spectacular. The rockpooling was successful as well, finding crabs, butterfish, anemones, dog whelks, mussels, limpets and many other creatures of the sea. The highlight was some kite surfing, which looks like a great way to spend some time on the water. And later in the evening it was a beautiful sunset over Ardmucknish Bay.
