Today was another wonderful day hiking in the stunning west coast of Scotland. Started the day hiking the woodland at Sutherland forest near Barcaldine. Later went for a drive on a winding single track road to Loch Awe and drove along the shore and hiked up the River Avich to Loch Avich, which was lovely. On the way home the drive along the shores of Loch Avich treated us with a spectacular sunset.
It has been a great week exploring Argyll with my parents. Too bad they have to go home!
